I would size down. I bought the 10 petite in store on clearance. I rushed home to see if there were more 10ps. 12p and larger were left so I chose the 12p. Luckily the buttons and elastic help you make the trousers tighter. The waist does bunch in the back of you adjust, so you might want to wear a ...sweater to cover the back. The length fits well! It's graces the floor if I wear ballet flats and if I wear 2 inch block heels, there's room. Please make more of these pants. I'm obsessed
I wanted to love these. Just the kind of thing I was looking for. Great shape. Fit pretty well. I had to have them hemmed (I'm 5'2")., to be expected. Rise is a little shorter than expected - these bunch at the crotch if the waist is at my navel. Fine to wear a little lower. Was excited to wear them.... However, the fabric ruins it. On first feel, it is great! Even luxurious feeling. BUT, I cannot get the packing creases and wrinkles out! Washed in cold water and hung dry. Tried steaming and ironing. Makes them look cheap. Also, the fabric started pilling after that one gentle, cold wash. I will try one of the other barrel pants on offer in a different fabric.
