I normally get the 8 tall in full length pixie pants and that was way too long for me on this style. I considered hemming but then tried the size 6 regular and found they are STUNNING! I am 48 yrs old but these make me look fabulous with ankle boots. I suddenly feel I belong on the set of a movie or... in a fancy board meeting (trust me that is shocking considering what I look like in most pants). If it helps anyone with sizing I am 5'9" and 132 lbs. Very comfy in crotch area same as other pixie pants
I wanted to like these pants; the material is soft, the flare is flattering, and the colors are nice. Unfortunately, the sizing is all over the place. I bought the beautiful forest green in a size 12 and it was too big. I then ordered a 10 (green) and it was super tight and binding, especially in th...e hips/stomach area when I sat down. Then I bought a SECOND pair of green size 12s and they fit great! Returned the others. I assumed I had gotten a defective 12 the first time, so I ordered the Brown pair in a 12. It was too baggy, especially in the legs, and falling down in the waist. ugh. So I ordered a Brown size 10 and it was skin tight in the hips, butt, stomach and waist. How is there such an enormous difference in fit between the 10s and 12s? It's only ONE size apart. I gave up on the Brown color, returned both pair. I had also ordered 2 pair of Beige size 12s, hoping one would fit me like the forest green "good" size 12 that I kept. No such luck. They were both too big and baggy. However, I read some reviews here saying they shrink when washed, so I'm keeping one Beige size 12, hoping it shrinks. Won't be ordering any more colors though. lol

These pants are a mix of soft and rough material, similar to cargo pants. The thigh section of the pants are a bit tighter to give the flare look, so if you don't prefer tight jeans (up top), consider sizing up. Otherwise they are very comfortable and the button section looks very formal when wearing them.
