I was looking for a casual jacket to replace an 8 year old Dickies jacket that has developed many holes, tears and generally worn itself out. It has seen a lot of wear and tear at the barn, and doing work around the property. This isn't exactly the same as my old jacket, but it's pretty good. It should do what I need as a casual jacket and won't likely get abused and overused like my old one. Most of the jackets I looked at were north of $150, with some hitting $300 and that was just too much in my mind for a barn jacket. Many of them were safety style with a lot of reflective piping or stripes. I have one of those for when I am out at the edge of the property at the road or if I go into the woods and have any concerns about hunters on adjacent properties. It fits well, true to size as an XXL, zipper is smooth, hand warmer pockets are a decent size, front breast pocket has zipper closure to keep things inside (be nice to have 2 of them, but 1 is doable). Interior pocket is a decent size for phone, wallet or whatever you need to put in it, but would be nice if it had a zipper or snap or velcro closure. It's insulated and good for mild cold weather on it's own, I think a vest or thicker hoodie will make it work for real cold weather. To make it even better, the jacket was on sale for a huge savings and I couldn't pass it up for the price. All in all a good jacket that didn't break the bank.

Arrived pretty wrinkled from being folded, but I had to remember that it's canvas. Will have it steamed and it should be great. This is a very unique color in a canvas jacket. Really like it!
