I am reviewing the Billie High-Waisted Straight Ankle Trouser - Dark Wash. These have become my new go-to pant/uniform; this will be what I wear everyday, cause that' what I do. I chose the dark wash because it gives the jean effect without being a jean. I love the elastic waist and the tie string t...o extend the use as I am on a better health journey. There is a lot of room in the thighs and butt. These fit big, somewhat. There is a big difference between the XXL and XL, it's wild. I landed on the XL which is slightly tight in the waist but not too ridiculous of room in the crotch and thighs (no MC Hammer effect). It did not shrink much after washing and drying and even with the minimal shrinkage the pants fit much like they did the first time after wearing for a few hours. You may possibly find your legs and other pressure points, even underwear looking blue after a wear, even after washing. I hope the dye settles in. I did not find that the washing the pants with other clothing (I do not separate) caused the dye to transfer but I feel like some clothes were affected - definitely wash alone/similar colors on your first few washes. The pockets are perfectly placed and sized right - they can hold cell phones and keys. The back pocket is lovely too though I have not used it much. The length is decent, I am a 30" inseam at 5'7" and the regular are not too long or short. Highly recommend. Highly recommend trying them on before buying, or try a few sizes to find the right fit.
I am wearing these pants for the first time as I type. I am at work. I got dressed in the dark. I was just sitting in a meeting and noticed you can see my tattoos through these pants. Great! Silver gray? More like translucent. But for real, they're super thin. I feel like if I sweat, you'd be able ...to see it. If you can see my tattoos, what else can you see through the fabric? If I walked around in the summer in these bad boys I fear I'd be asked to go home. I wear a 20 in the ON Pixie pants. They're comfortable. Wonderful. Don't stretch throughout the day. I love them. I have on an XXL in these and the tiny flimsy drawstring is not equipped for the amount of work it is doing to hold these pants up. I should have sized down, sure, but like way too many ON pants, they feel completely different halfway through my workday than when I tried them on. Because of this, I look like I am wearing sweatpants. I'm sad about the pants but thankful I bought them on sale so the loss is not a full price situation.
