I tried this coat on in store a few months ago and LOVED the fit and drape but not the fabric. I'm not a fan of synthetic wool look alike coats. I think it's extremely wasteful since they never hold up well and synthetic fibers hold on to stinky smells. However, after searching for months for a similar looking coat (I love the raglan sleeve on this coat!) I couldn't find anything under $150 with a raglan sleeve. Raglan sleeve wool coats are the best in winter because you can wear a chunkier sweater with them and it drapes nicer vs a set in sleeve. Annnnyways… I couldn't find a coat in my budget so I ended up getting this coat on sale with the intention of taking it apart and using it as a pattern to make my own 100% wool coat. I haven't done that yet but I'm confident it will turn out. So thank you for the pattern Old Navy. I'm sure this review won't get me that $1,000 giveaway. 😬🤭🤷♀️

I haven't had it long enough to know if it pills as other reviews have mentioned. But I got it almost 100% covered with rewards from my gap brands credit card so I don't feel like I made too much of an investment in it and it is super cute right now! I like that it's a bit oversized since I will mostly use it to go to work and often have a sweater or blazer on and this will fit nicely.
