My kids wears size 6x/7 and the small fits her a bit loose in the waist and it's a bit long. She's 46" and the pants touch the ground, but it'll be fine when she grows into it this winter. Warm but not as warm as microfleece. My kid liked the pretty pink color but not the black color, and she didn't... like the wide leg fit and preferred the legging fit.
Normally my kid wears a size Md or 8/10 perfectly and in other pants bought this same trip she fit great but these ones were easily 6" too short. Total capris.
