I always size up one from my normal size in turtlenecks because they can feel restricting to me. Well, this runs quite big so I returned the XL and ordered my usual size L! Even that is quite roomy, I could probably get away with a size down, M. It's very soft and doesn't feel too heavy and the fabr...ic isn't itchy. The only thing that really keeps me from giving a full 5 stars is the neck part of the sweater is quite long. I need to fold it over 2x for it to sit comfortably under my chin - with all other turtlenecks I only need to do one fold. Why is it so long?!
I ordered one of these in a different color a few years ago, and I loved it. It was soft, comfortable and fit well. This one was an unstructured mess. I loved the color--absolutely beautiful. It was still just as soft, but the arms were much too wide and hung down, the body didn't appear to be strai...ght, and was too large, and it was very long. I wanted so much to love this sweater as much as the one from a year or two ago, but it was not nearly as good. It's gotta go back.

This was an end of Season bonus while shopping for shorts. I typically wouldn't choose to size up but it was such a great deal. It'll be a little looser when I decide to wear something under it during the next cold days. It's just as soft as the description explains. The turtle is soft and generous around my neck. I'd buy other colors in this sweater when it's offered again.

I love this SoSoft material! I want every sweater I own to feel like this. I know after a number of wears and washes I'll need to take a depiller to it, but it is totally worth the mix of comfort in a style I can wear to work. The neck was unusually long (maybe I have a short neck?) But I just folded it over a few times and it was fine.
