These are comfortable and soft. I am 5'2 and always have to order a short in pants so since these didn't come in different lengths, I got the petite. They hit JUST at the bottom of my feet so no dragging but it's close. I wear a size L (12) but since these looked like a more relaxed fit, I got a M. ...They fit perfectly. I carry all of my weight in my stomach (3 kids) and sizing down 1 was still the best option. My one complaint? EVERY fuzz, hair, lint will stick to these. Just pulling them out of the package and lying them on my bed, they already had fuzz sticking to them. They're also naturally a pilly tyoe of fabric, like knitted looking, so I imagine they may easily snag. These may be a pet owners worst nightmare. So just keep that in mind.
I have mixed feelings on these pants (and the matching sweater). They are undeniably cozy and I want to live in them forever. HOWEVER, they immediately lose their chic feeling after about four hours worth of wear as they are already pilling. I have the kind of heathered tan color so I don't think ...the pills stand out too much, but I am disappointed. The pants are also LONG. I am not short (5'8") and bought the regular length. I have to roll them at the waist and they still drape nicely over uggs/slippers/boots/tennies. Overall, amazing for winter work from home days, but not as chic as I was hoping for outside of the house comfortable errand running wear (bulky at the waist due to the need to roll over and, you know, the pilling).
