As a hard core outdoor worker I've got like 50+ high end vests used for a lifetime.Now added these in every color & they're my daily "go to" choice.Absolutely superb! Freedom of movement/10 warmth/lightweight..just perfect/easy on every level.Keep them handy to throw on indoors to keep heat bills do...wn some & layer a coat under or over.Bought 2 sizes larger than normal & they still fit great.Pockets are deep & w the zip/snap combo you couldn't ask for a better vest.My Carhartt are too stiff & heavy,my wool 5 pocket Pioneer wear are too thin/fancy,& others just aren't comparably warm. Buy em!
This would be perfect if I could get it in a TALL XS. But the smallest tall size is a small. And the small makes me look like the Michelin tire man, it's way too puffy and big on me. And the XS is too cropped and short in the waist. I was so hyped up by all the positive reviews but ultimately disapp...ointed. I'm only 5'7", I'm not even THAT tall, but I hate that everything is cropped now, so tall is basically what normal should be. It's a bummer because this is a gorgeous shade of blue and I'd love this vest otherwise. Please make XS and XXS tall options!
