I stumbled upon these pants in-store during an emergency clothing situation, and I'm so glad I did. They're not perfect, but they'll work for a variety of situations, including some offices. --Pro-- * Flat, tailored appearance * Extremely comfortable * OK sizing, maybe slightly big? (I got mediu...m.I'm 5'7", 32" waist, growing butt. Could have done large but that waist was too floppy. I'ma large in otherON pants like joggers.) * Wide-ish waistband * Looks like traditional office pants * Cozy and warm * Wash well (I use clothing bags in the washer and then naturally dry on a rack) --Cons-- * Limited professional colors. I bought black and burgundy for the office, but the other two colors are heathered and won't look professional enough. We need navy, dark green, maybe an eggplant. * Can snag or get runs. I've had mine for two months and they're mostly OK, but they can catch on things. * Not full-length. I don't know what ON's obsession with cropped and 7/8 length is, but I just want some pants that fully cover my legs and ankles without playing the "Will the tall size actually fit everywhere?" game, because I'm not considered tall and shouldn't have to resort to that. And especially in cooler months, I don't want to be thinking about if my ankles will freeze. * May be too warm for spring/summer. I'd love a seasonally appropriate version for other months. * Pricey. Full price is $50+. There are sales, but I didn't find these marked down as much as other items. The lowest I've paid was about $24 in November 2025.

I don't understand all the positive reviews on these pants. I have washed and worn them twice and they are ready for the trash. They have runs everywhere (like what you would see in pantyhose) and are all pilled up inside and out. They attract lint like crazy (I have the black), and I've honestly ne...ver been more disappointed with a pair of Old Navy pants. I had multiple pairs of pants similar in style last year and they were all exponentially nicer than what Old Navy is selling this year. Gone is the quality. And gone is the customer service might I add. I had two orders in a row this fall with missing items and ON did nothing about it.
