I'm pear shape carry weight in lower half. 5'3.5 weight 125. Ordered 4P. I think these run slightly small for old navy but it's partly the style of the cut. Slimmer through leg and then flare out a little. These are perfect length boot cut with slight flair. These fit perfectly around waist. A littl...e snug through thigh and hips. Color: black fits looser through hip butt and leg. The Navy seems a little tighter. Material: THIN and sorry to say but cheap feeling. It's just so darn thin but decent enough for work during warm months. Not sure it's going suffice for winter. Lastly as with ALL old navy pants they get slightly funky ill fitting around crotch/pockets zip. I think it's just lack of care during construction but you get what you pay for. If I wanted to pay 200 dollars for beauty dress pants and jeans that didn't get weird around groin, sipper button area with cheap looking pocket and zipper construction I would. I prefer to save the money and just cover the area with an over size blazer and call it a day. You get what you pay for. It's decent.
I used to order the uniform pants with the nice stretch panel in the front. They were SO comfortable and the panel gave you huge front pockets too. I always ordered multiple pairs in all colors for work. Then out of nowhere, they stopped selling them. I saw these high waisted uniform pants and thoug...ht I'd give them a try, hoping for a similar pant as the ones I've loved for years. Wellllll, nope. Not even close. I ordered the same size as always and these were like 3-4 inches from fastening while still fitting great in the legs/hips! Seriously?! Bring back the old style please!
