Okay. It's a skort and I enjoy the look of all over skirt on top and underneath you have short attached. My child loves when she spins the pleated skirt twirls too! She weights about 53lbs and purchased 6/7 size. Fits perfect on waist and length is great. Purchased the tan color. Washes ok. I didn...'t put in dryer, but hung up instead to dry.
Much too short to be worn to school. My daughter is only average height. Does not meet even basic dress code standards. Would have greatly preferred shorts to NOT be attached (aka.. an actual skirt!) as the garment would be much more versatile without them (could be comfortably worn with heavy tight...s or leggings). Also with an actual skirt, not skort, shirts don't come untucked every time your little one goes to the lavatory and skirt does not end up on restroom floor. Attached shorts also require the entire garment to be laundered every time it's worn resulting in quicker fading and more wear. Only redeeming quality, and why we gave it a shot despite attached shorts, is that this actually has pleats all the way around unlike almost all other girls skorts that have flat, plain backs and look terrible on and look so cheap.
