I honestly can't believe I'm writing this, but this top is perfect for me. I haven't shopped at Old Navy in probably 10 years, then saw this cotton crew-neck tee in XS and that it was also in PETITE (I had no idea Old Navy even sold petite sizes), and I'm SO HAPPY by how well it fits. It's a fitted,... snug style that is actually true to size. I usually have to size down to XXS everywhere else and even then things are often too wide, boxy, or awkwardly cut. This exact style (slim fit with a v-neck) looks so good on petites. Actually crafted and designed for petites unlike other stores that carry the same cuts for everyone. This, somehow, fits exactly the way clothes should. Like how they used to fit. The length is right, the proportions make sense, and it actually follows my body instead of hanging off of it. The light grey color also surprised me. I was worried the other shades would be too bold, and this was the only warm enough neutral that goes good next to my olive skin tone and is easy to wear. What really sealed it for me is the fabric. In a world where everything is synthetic, plasticky, or paper-thin, this being cotton feels like such a rare gem. The quality is honestly very solid, especially for the price. I've spent hundreds (if not thousands) trying to find good staple tops from "nicer" brands only for them to fail the sizing, and this one simple Old Navy tee made me feel like I finally found a winner the second I tried it on instead of frustration. I really hope they keep making this exact cut and style. If they do, I would absolutely start shopping here more often. PLEASE bring back more fitted slim fits again. V-necks too.
