I love denim skirts, but those with front slits can flash skin while I'm sitting. Old Navy bicycle shorts to the rescue! And unlike slips that shift, these stay put. I'm between M & L, so I size up so they would last longer. They're stretchy enough to do that. I've had multiple pairs and have washed... a bunch of times, but only fluffed on air and line-dried. Debating buying more so I can do wash less.
Ok quality but stretches out quickly. Comfy but no real compression/smoothing at all. Not enough spandex to keep their shape. Cheap but I can find just as cheap ones that don't lose shape. I do like the length! I usually wear a 2x in shorts and I bought 1x because old navy sizing has been way off th...is year. They are still pretty big on me , so I'm confused on all the reviews saying the overall size "is true to size" . 😂 these are huge I need at the least 2 sizes down. Might make me feel skinny but come on. Size down a couple sizes from your "real" size and measurements.

These are my go to shorts for under all my skirts. I have THICK thighs. The 8 inch inseam is necessary to prevent chub rub. I have these in both large and extra large. The large is just a little tight on the leg, and the extra large is just a little loose at the waist. Due to the aforementioned thick thighs, they tend to wear out along the inner seam. They are easy enough to fix and I tend to wear them until they've been repaired twice before buying new ones. These last a long time, and i hope old navy always carries them because i don't know where else to find cotton shorts with an 8 inch inseam.
