I was really excited to finally find a T-shirt in a shade of light blue that looks ideally complements my skin tone when searching online, so I immediately placed the order online for in-store pickup, which seemed like the safest option since the item was low in stock. I really appreciate how quickl...y the order was ready — just a few minutes after I placed it. That kind of prompt service is definitely worth recognizing! However, I was pretty disappointed to discover that the wrong size was packed. I ordered a size S, but received an XL. Over the years, I've placed many online orders from different stores, and this is actually the first time I've received the wrong size entirely. Though human error is inevitable, it would be understandable if it was a small mix-up — say, S vs XS — but XL for S is quite a leap. I'd really urge the team to double-check both the item type and size during order prep. While I did check the color when I picked it up to make sure it looked as expected, I didn't think I'd need to confirm the size too — I trusted that part would be accurate. Unfortunately, now I have to make another trip back to the store just to exchange it (hope they still have it availble as I mentnioned it was already low in stock, otherwise I'd love to check in person to confirm the color at first before buying it). With current storm warnings, and it being a 30-minute drive each way, it's too much effort for a simple T-shirt!. Not the ideal first shopping experience at all! P.S.: I would've rated this higher if it weren't for this frustrating experience. I actually love the color and material of the shirt, and the price is fair for the quality (though $ could be a bit better)— but the size mix-up really soured what could've been a good first impression of Old Navy.
