I ordered these jeans online, in a size 12, medium wash and absolutely love the fit! My review however, will be about the cleanliness of the jeans, and not the fit. Before I start, I will say that the jeans came sealed in plastic, and didn't have any visible dirt stains on them when I opened them. ...I have taken to washing many of my clothes by hand—especially my jeans—to help preserve the overall life of my clothes. To my surprise, when I went to wash these jeans by hand, the water that came out was a murky, dirty yellow color. I had expected to see some kind of blue, from the wash of the jeans, which I know is somewhat normal with new, dark colored clothes. I can assure you that the water from my pipes was running clear, and that I hadn't added any detergent or soap to the water at the time of taking the pictures. I am writing all of this to say—PLEASE WASH YOUR CLOTHES BEFORE YOU WEAR THEM! It's apparently not sanitary to wear clothes right off the rack or out of the bag. I already knew about this from hearing a family member who worked in retail, tell me about how garments are often thrown about behind the scenes, but that's a story for another time… As I said, the jeans fit well, but please, to protect your skin and overall health, don't wear clothes from Old Navy, or any other store before you've washed them, because it's not worth it. I am in no way trying to demonize Old Navy, as I've shopped this brand for years, and will continue to do so. I just want other customers like me to have some knowledge about the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the clothes they're buying.
The jeans themselves are fine, a non-stretch classic "mom jean" fit that can be dressed up or down. I have an apron belly, so these are a little snug when I first put them on, but not terribly. There is some slight distressing which wasn't clear to me from the photos, but they look chic with the rig...ht top and accessories. I knocked off two stars because these came out of the bag with that infamous Old Navy jean chemical smell. It's like a combination of mothballs, chlorine, and formaldehyde. I know from experience that it will take several washes and drying outside to remove it. This has been going on for YEARS with many customers complaining. I'm finding now that these jeans are showing up in stores and stinking everything up. It doesn't matter which dye is being used. I wish that Old Navy would work with its manufacturers and warehouses to address the issue.

I got the button fly dark wash with the fringe and love the details. The legs were a little baggy, but I had people asking if I had lost weight, so these jeans are a keeper. Very comfortable and I love the color. Reminds me of the 90s acid wash kind of. I'm between a 14-16 and just under 5ft and got the 16 petite. They hit the tops of my shoes

I have been searching for years for jeans I felt confident in. These are it. I was skeptical because they aren't stretchy and for a mom of 3 littles, I was never one to want to try jeans that were not stretchy. Anyway, im 5 ft 4 inches, about 155 lbs with mommy belly. I tend to fall in size large for bottoms at old navy and for these jeans, I bought size 12 regular. These jeans hold in all the bits I want held in and complements my bottom respectfully lol. And the rise is perfect!! My only issue is I am shorter, so I do need to roll the bottoms up 3 times, so I do wish they came in a short size rather than petite. All in all, I plan to buy more pairs and maybe ill get the ankles hemmed on the next pair so I dont alway need to sport the rolled up ankle vibe.

I have to start with it: I am VERY picky( Being slim my almost entire life I was able to wear jeans and have no issue with sizes. Better part of my life started with two bonuses weight and right pair of jeans. I tried ALL brand ( Paige, AG, AGOLDE , LB, AG - was mad at my self till I finally ( THANKS GOD) landed at Old Navy store and found best fitting JEANS! For reference I am 5'5" and 170 lbs. size 12 is perfect. High rise help me to hide deep all my treasures around belly area. Straight fit give you slimming look even in light washed. They are stretchy enough to let you breath and my husband no longer hiding from me being mad and constantly complaining ( it is always his fault:))) I got these ( all washes) and I got full length wow high rise jeans . Get them and you will smile again ( if you know what I am talking about. Just LOVE Old Navy and very thankful to the great people who made tgese jeans
