OK, so I'll just say this now. I'm a designer, and more so, a Creative Director. If there's one person or profession that gets that things should look AND work well, it's me. With men's jeans, even if we sit around all Covid-lock-down and all or run about on a trail or ride a bike... if we do it in... jeans, they can't be painted-in and skin tight. Yes, I know, they look great on SOME people… but sit all day in skinnies, run in skinnies, etc. it's a recipe for an Old Navy return. However, the Athletic cut of jeans. There you go. Loose in the butt so you can sit around without your tenders being tenderized. Tapered a the ankle so you can ride a bike! And no matter your frame - tall, short, skinny, chubby or actually ATHLETIC, they look pretty darn good. Please buy more of these jeans. 'Cause if you don't, Old Navy's mom and dad will fire the product manager for lack of sales and he/she/they will probably starve and their foster pets returned to the pound. Worse, I'd be forced to go another store and buy that OTHER brand of jeans made from old tents! And you don't want that do you?

I have such a hard time buying good jeans in the age of vanity sizing and jeans loaded up with too much stretch material. I bought some of these jeans at an Old Navy store last year (2020) in 34 X 32, they fit extremely well. So I ended up buying more 34 X 32 recently online (2021) and found the fit... or sizing has completely changed. They fit fine when you first try them on but, the new fit stretches out too much after wearing only a couple hours, becomes baggy in the legs, and sags in the butt. Very disappointing because they fit perfect the way they were before. Either the sizing was changed to vanity sizing or they added too much flex material in with the denim. Will not buy again.

Pants are great! I have 3 of this style in different colors. They price matched the website's 50% off deal when I was in-store, so that was awesome. I got big thighs so I need pants with room but that aren't baggy, and these work great.
