I ordered this on a whim and from the reviews, I wasn't sure I'd like it. I ordered the dusk navy, and it's more grey/ black than navy. The material hangs very nicely and is flowy. The bike shorts under it are plenty stretchy even for big or muscular thighs. It is a surprisingly complimentary st...yle, even for a curvy 50-something year old! I probably won't wear it to work out, but I'll wear it on a boat or the beach where the wind is an issue. Looking forward to wearing this with cropped tanks and even t-shirts, or even over a swimsuit. I do recommend sizing up - I'm usually at 10 in ON bottoms, and I ordered a L. Perfect fit!
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this skirt but unfortunately it was not flattering on me. I ordered the recommended size per the size chart but I should have gone up one size to a large. I got another old navy athletic skirt in size medium and it fit better than this one. It was way t...oo snug in the waist and the seams across the front weren't flattering. For reference I am 5' 5" and ~155 pounds. A large would work better for my body type.
