Good design of socks. They are a little padded and have some elastic that makes the middle snug to your foot. The toe part has plenty of room and does not squish your toes together. The top of the back heel part juts up a little to cover more of your achilles- might keep you from getting blisters if... you wear low cut shoes. Two cons: they Will shrink in the wash/dryer the first time and its noticeable. If you have smaller feet this isnt a problem but if your size is 7.5 or 8 I would maybe buy the size up version. I am between a 7 and 7.5 and i dont think a larger foot than mine would fit after they shrunk. Also on a couple of the pairs theres a spot that looks weirdly threadbare underneath the ankle on the grey (?) ones. it is intact, but if its stretched out it looks like a hole from afar, not on every sock.
I bought another pkg of these because I loved the ones I bought a couple of years ago as they were thick (yet breathable), cushiony and stayed in place. Even told my daughter that these were the best, so she wanted some too. I got these and tried on the next day. Terrible!! The new ones are thin..., they are longer, and therefore bunch up on the back of my ankle. I did not like the fit at all as I've had some others just like these. The shoe "eats" the sock b/c they are thin and not well-fitted, so they bunch up under my heel when I walk! I immediately took them off and they are going to be returned. I agree with prior review - BRING BACK THE ORIGINALS!!!!

Has the extra height at the back heel, as well as added loom in the heel and toolbox! Are very well crafted with high cotton content, and very beautiful color combinations. I can't wait to wear these.
