Beware dark color bigger than lighter color

I loved these so much in the light color I bought all the sizes. Then I purchased all the sizes in the darker blue as well. However, the darker blue color, all of the pants are much longer than the light wash. I'm not sure why since I ordered all the same sizes.

Runs VERY small

I wanted to love these. They are cotton (not synthetic) and very cute. But, unfortunately, they run very small. I followed the size chart and they are literally capris length and snug waist band on my toddler (no room to grow). I wish I had sized up. If you order them (quality seems good), size up, ...
