My curvy daughter tried all of the wide leg styles , she wanted something that sat on her hips so the high rise styles were eliminated. This style fit great through the hips, but she had to go down from a 6 to a 2 for the waist to fit without a huge gap in the back. A curvy size would have helloed. ...Wondering if these jeans will stretch out and look sloppy after wearing a full day? It's too hot to try now so these are going off to college with her in the medium blue and black. Old Navy, make more soft, wide leg jeans with microscope lower waist and with zipper instead of buttons!
I bought this in the dark blue wash in a 2 and a 4. I'm usually a 6 or a 4 in jeans, but since these are baggy style I went down a size. They are absolutely gargantuan. I tried on the size 2 first and I could probably pull them off without unbuttoning them. They're labeled a size 2 but fit more like... a 12 or so I'm guessing? Literally multiple sizes too large. The 4 looked so big in the bag that I didn't bother trying them on. For reference, I can wear a 2 or a 4 in the Extra High Rise Wide Leg jeans, with the 2 fitting better. Aside from fit, the wash and the denim weight seemed really nice. The top button was VERY hard to unbutton as it seemed the button hole was almost too small. I gave them a couple stars for quality and potential, but the sizing is beyond off.

Love these jeans! I'm short 5'2 and 115 pounds so have a hard time finding loose fitting jeans that don't overwhelm me. These magically don't. They somehow make my legs look longer and are flattering. I got a size 0 petite after reading reviews (even though I'm usually a 2 in ON and Gap) but the 0 petite fits perfect. Short girlies buy these!!!

As many of the reviewers have said, these jeans run really big. I normally wear a 6 and the 4s are pretty big on me. The description says they are zip fly, but they are in fact button fly. Other than that, they are super comfy and cute.
