I typically wear a size large petite in all ON dresses but I happened to see this one in medium petite at a local store so I tried it on and to my surprise it fit PERFECTLY. So, you may be able to size down in this one - for reference I am 5'2" and have a 40" bust which is mainly due to a broad back... and wide shoulders (not a lot of breast tissue) 35" waist and 39" hips. Be sure to never dry these in the dryer though as rayon flows beautifully but shrinks terribly easily. A quick steam does the trick on rayon to remove wrinkles as well.
I ordered the black. It's a bit low cut in the chest (I'll need to find a super low cut bra), but otherwise fits very pretty; it accentuates my curves and hides all lumps:) However, it's see-through! It's SUPER thin material, and if someone plans to wear during the day, it'll be see through. I'll al...so need a slip! For reference, I'm 5'7", 155, 32DDD and I ordered the large (the medium didn't fit my bust as well as the large, but if I were smaller busted, the medium would have fit too).

I love this dress!!! Such a beautiful color, lays perfectly, and super comfortable. I'm 5'2" 115lbs and I bought the petite small (i probably could have gone either petite small or petite xs). The tie string gives the dress a little shape which is nice. The only thing I will say is that it's a little low cut (front and arm holes), but other than that it's gorgeous and I can't wait to wear it in the summer!
