With side pockets and thick cotton these dresses are adorable and functional. However, they run a bit small so might exchange. My daughter is a small (33rd percentile) 6.5 year old who is mostly wearing size 5s right now. I purchased the 6-7 for summer but when she tried these on they were already snug. LOVE the blue pansy print so much!
