These pants are great for any kind of sport, because you can layer them over shorts or leggings and take them off. I especially like them for hiking, yoga, and working out at the gym. They fold up easily and can be stowed in a backpack or gym bag.
Bought both colours in regular and tall (I'm 5'5" and thought getting tall might get me more poof). I wanted parachute pants for hiking that were big and super poofy in the gorpcore style that's popular now. These weren't like that. The material doesn't stay poofed out like it does on the model, i...t just looks kinda scrunched up vs giving voluminous shape. They're more straight leg than barrel leg. And the fabric is noisy and feels cheap, like thin stiff crepe. It gives children's snowpants vibe and you can hear every single move your legs make from a mile away. Also if you have a curvier butt, the pants do fit tighter back there vs loose all around.
