I originally bought a pair of these joggers and the regular style heavyweight sweatpants for my husband. I ended up stealing them from him often enough that I had to buy two of my own! They kept me perfectly comfortable and warm in 10 to 20 degree weather in MN, and when it started dropping to singl...e digits I could slap on some tights underneath them with no problem. I can't speak to if they're true to size or not because I expected to have to cinch the waist when I bought them, but if you're 5'6" like me or have shorter legs the pants may fall under your heels sometimes. Not a problem if you're wearing shoes or thicker socks. The fit is way more relaxed and comfortable than I could expect from women's sweatpants and highly recommend these to anyone. I would buy four more of these between the two of us if we could afford it!
I have no idea why there aren't more reports of these sweatpants being huge. Not only that but they are supposed to be joggers. The cuff is also huge. They are comfortable. I have ordered two of these in the hopes that what I got was an anomaly. It's not. I'm going to be returning both pairs ...and move on to another brand.

the medium pair of joggers there was some shrinkage when I washed the joggers. They became a little tight in the waist. I also purchased a "large" in gray and when I washed them they also shrank but now they fit purfect
