These shorts are a linen blend, so perfect for summer, but they also have a decent length inseam and an adjustable waist! I have been saying for years how I wish women's pants had an adjustable waist like kids pants (and I have even altered some of my pants to do this with elastic) but these shorts ...have an elastic and button adjustable tab inside that is just—well I couldn't be happier. I got a size 6, which is my normal size (and cinched in the waist a bit). I am 5'4", about 140lbs with a booty.
I bought these in black, and they were on sale for a great price. I liked them, very comfortable and cute shorts. However, I wouldn't have paid full price for these, the material seems cheap/ thin. But for the price I paid, they're well worth it for a casual outfit. In the photos they seem more upsc...ale than in person. (At least the black shorts.) Aside from the material, they ran HUGE! I got a Medium/ my size, I'm definitely not a small. There was so much extra room. I even tried to use the adjuster in the shorts, still too big, so I returned them unfortunately. (They had no small at my local store.) I plan to buy them again while they're on sale, in hopes a small can fit. Or possibly try petite if it's available. 🤞
