These dresses are super cute. If you are between sizes I'd get the bigger of the two. Based on the measurements I ordered a 3x and thought I would not be able to wear it because it was too baggy when I tried it on, but I washed and dried it and it was perfect so keep that in mind. If you can order a... tall I'd recommend it if on the taller side. These are a wearable length if you are around 5'9" or 5'10", but shorts are nice underneath. I bought more colors, perfect throw on dress. My sister washed hers and let it air dry and it did not shrink much at all so I recommend that and will do the same with mine in the future. These are mini dresses so they are supposed to be short.
I'm 5'6, 135-140lbs, 36DD. I usually get dresses in Tall sizes because I like them to hit at or right below my knees. I bought this dress in M Tall in four different colors. They were too big/wide (I easily could have sized down to S), but the length was perfect. Despite them being too big, I kept ...them and figured I'd wear them around the house, for quick errands, etc. I washed them the same night in cold water and dried on low. I expected some shrinking, but holy cow! After being washed, they now fit perfect width-wise (like I imagined the S would fit), but the length is more than 5 inches above my knees now. ×•× (It fits like the smallest model in listing's pictures.) It's showing way more leg than I'm comfortable with, which means I'd constantly worry about it riding up and showing even more legs or even my underwear. I'm super disappointed, because they're really cute, but way too short for me now. So, buyer beware. And no, I didn't consider hang drying it. With the exception of some very delicate items, I have no interest in high maintenance clothes which require hang drying and ironing/steaming. A garment either makes it through a wash/dry cycle, or it doesn't.

This dress is easy to wear and feels great on. The material is soft and has a nice weight, so it doesn't cling. The length is good for everyday errands and casual outings. It holds up well in the wash and didn't shrink. I like that it's an effortless piece I can throw on with sneakers or sandals.
