I normally take a size 4-6 (28) depending on the cut and style, but recently have gained some weight and take a 6/28. Decided to size up to an 8, as it said high-waisted and I wanted shorts that hit longer on the thigh. Glad I did, as these are not 5 inch inseams at all, but a 4.5 inseam, so shorter... than expected. As they fall lower, below my belly button (as they are a size larger) I achieved a longer length. They are super soft, baggy and kind of flair out on the sides, which I like, to flatter the thigh and hide curvy saddle-bags. I would recommend!
I loved these shorts until I went on a 2.5 hour drive, sitting down the entire time, and when I got out of the car the shorts stretched out SO much. I could literally put my arm down by my side inside the shorts and still have more room. Also, before the drive there was a lot of gaping on the waste ...in the back. I would have had to safety pin them if I wasn't wearing a baggy shirt. After looking at the reviews, it looks like other women had the same issue but they all seem to be more curvy gals (likewise). I bought an 18 and after they stretched they are probably a 22. I'm going to try to return them if I'm able to. Very disappointed since I had my hopes so high!

These shorts are SO flattering and comfortable. I've had them for over a year and wear them all the time. I came back recently to buy a couple more pairs so that I'll always have some but they're sold out! ToT I really hope they get restocked because they are just so good!!
