So let me just say, I'm a clothes and shoes snob. But lately I have been on this quiet affordable luxury lane, and I'm so impressed with Old Navy. Their athleisure is especially amazing and for the price it's a no brainer. These sleek tech pants are no exception. I bought every color available in m...y size, and even sized up to a medium because the small was sold out for some colors. THEY ARE THE BEST. THEY are worth all the hype and OLD navy-PLEASE bring these back in every color. I would love to see white, off white, burgundy, dark navy, brown, and every color under the sun. I haven't travelled with them yet but I can already tell that these will be easy to pack, dress up, dress down. FYI im 5'2" and 140, size 6-8 or 28 in jeans, and normally wear a small -small petite in Old NAVY, Gap and BR. I love the fit of the small regular (check the inseam) but easily went to a medium regular for a baggier look, but note that the waist cannot be adjusted. I don't have a curvy figure, so if you have a smaller waist go with your regular size. I also get short lengths in Gap, but not normally petite. For me- as far as length- regular was perfect because i didn't want it to be cropped. Anyway, JUST GET THEM!

I tried these pants in a couple of sizes and the smaller size was fine but more fitted, and the larger size was more voluminous and drapey but draped like the inseams were caught on something on the inner aspects of my legs rather than on purpose to create the barrel effect. These pants also have an... inner lining layer that can stick to your legs if a bit sweaty, which enhances the accidentally-caught-on-sowmthing odd look and also felt thick and heavy. Looked odd on me, ended up returning both. I'm fairly short (just shy of 5ft) and curvy/stocky and usually can wear petite medium bottoms, and I tried petite medium and petite small for this. Maybe better suited to a slimmer or taller person.

I missed out on these pants last year...so I bought them as soon as I saw them available this spring, and I'm so glad I did! I am a big fan of the SleekTech joggers and have many pairs. The Barrel Ankle Pants are made of the same fabric. They have a nice wide comfy waistband (no drawstring). It's hard to tell from the picture online, but the barrel leg isn't SUPER pronounced, so you don't look bowlegged wearing them. They're just the perfect amount of oversized, they don't overwhelm your frame, and look great. I'm 5'2" and I purchased regular small in the color black. They fit relatively TTS for me..I could probably size down to a XS but I was so excited to wear them, I didn't want to wait! The bottom hem hits my ankle bone. These pants have been fun to dress up or down. I've been wearing them with close fitting cotton tanks...or you can dress them up a bit with a crisp button down shirt and some jewelry. They're super versatile and I know I will get a lot of use out of them! They wash up great in a cold water wash (no fabric softener) and I line dry them. No problems with the fabric fading, stretching, pilling etc

These run large so order down a size, as the waist is very forgiving. I wore these last summer all..the..time! Never wrinkle, and can be worn with a sneaker or a cute sandal. Get them while you can because sizes are often sold out!

LOVE these pants so much! I ordered them last season before they sold out and was so excited to see them restocked. I practically live in these pants all summer and especially while traveling. I'm 5'2 ~150lbs and wear a medium. I have both medium in regular and medium petite. The medium petite is slightly more snug on my bum but I love both fits! The barrel is also perfect. Sometimes barrel cuts look way too poofy on me as a petite person but these fall so well on my frame.
