FIT: These jeans look and feel great once they are on, but putting them on and taking them off is a little bit of a struggle. Basically, the problem is getting the fixed waistband over the hips, and I say that as someone who has pretty narrow hips. Once they are on, the waist is actually perfect an...d does not gap in the back (a common problem for me with many other jean styles). LENGTH: Lengthwise, the size 00 Regular fits on my 5'3" frame exactly as it does on the models in the pictures. It's the perfect length to show off your cute shoes collection--anything from ballet flats, loafers without socks, heels, sandals, etc. I personally happen to think that this length of jeans looks unflattering and awkward paired with a socks+sneakers combo or with ankle boots (and I certainly did not buy them for that purpose), so I suspect the reviewers complaining about the length of these jeans probably did intend to style them differently from me. COLORS: I like both the faded black/gray-ish wash and the dark blue wash, and it is hard to decide which one would be more practical to keep. The faded black is indeed gray, so it actually looks more casual than the dark blue wash (usually blackish jeans tend to look more formal than blue jeans). Both washes feel like they have way more than 2% spandex--they feel very stretchy except for the waistband. DESIGN: Finally, unlike other reviewers, I am actually extremely THANKFUL to ON for making these jeans without front pockets. For the life of me, I will never understand what it is that women or girls need to so urgently carry in their front pockets (that's what handbags are for). Thank you ON for recognizing those of us who want to wear jeans without the unnecessary added bulk of front pockets.
