I'm 5'0", 172 lbs (35" waist, 42" hips) and ordered a 14 Petite. The waist is true and the rise is a true medium rise for petite sizing. The length is fun, fully above the ankle and looks good with flats or even combat boots. The hem curls up after drying which is not fun. I did not notice there were no front pockets and the back pockets are a bit small for securely housing a phone for the day. I still might get them in another color.
