These xtra high waisted pixie pants have a more tailored look to them. The material is thicker, just a bit more substantial than the regular pixie. The pockets have a smooth zipper closure to make them polished and smooth and there are 2 darts on either side of the waistband opening to give that hig...h waist the emphasis and smoothness it needs. There is a back seem too that runs the length of the leg which gives the leg length…. I am undecided on the comfort of this. The entire look is super classy and nobody would ever beleive you bought these at Old Navy. They are more Talbots or an even a high end line you would find at an expensive ladies boutique. I got the navy which is very rich dark navy. Now I am getting the plaid for holiday parties. Could be dressed up with heels and a nice cardigan or down with a Jean jacket and boots. LOVE them.
When i first got these i was SO stoked that i had finally found a pair of work pants that are high waisted enough AND long enough (i'm 6' so this is a HUGE deal) AND skinny!! Unfortunately, they only last a few washes before the zipper begins to warp, the color fades, and the fabric looks old and, t...o be frank, worn out. I've followed the washing instructions + never put them in the dryer, but they just look dingy, faded, and "used" after just 2-3 washes. I have one pair left that i have yet to wash, and i'm literally wearing them as much as i can before washing, because i know once i do, they're going to come out looking just as bad as the other 2 i have. for reference, i got navy and the brown houndstooth (washed) and olive (haven't yet washed). also—FWIW—the brown houndstooth is a different material than the solid navy and solid olive. it's more of a stretchy soft cotton.

I love these pants. They are polished, classy and comfortable. They are great for everyday or you can dress up too. I've had mine for almost a year and there is little fading as expected but still great quality. I wish they could keep these in stock to keep as my everyday pant.

This extra high waister polished pixie skinny pants are great! Super comfortable and flattering. I highly recommend this! I needed a pair of black pants for a volunteer position at a museum and this was perfect as I can dress it up for my volunteer time and be more casual for a fun weekend. Inlove with the zippered side pockets. At first it feels tight, but loosens to a perfect fit as the day goes....so don't mis-judge, it's actually very true to size.
